Andrey Solovov
  • Ph.D. Researcher
andrey.solovov@isr.uc.pt

With a background in Astrophysics and currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical and Intelligent Systems Engineering with a specialization in collaborative robotics, Andrey brings a robust expertise in signal processing and data management. His experience in cobot research and integration testing further enhances his capability to contribute meaningfully to the project.

Andrey’s role focuses on bridging the signal processing aspects of the neuroergonomics framework and supporting its implementation as feedback for cobot behavioral and structural adaptation. He has already demonstrated strong research skills, having worked as a researcher for two years and playing a key role in the Audiology for All project, which focused on real-time speech intelligibility enhancement in listening devices. Additionally, he has published two papers in high-quality IEEE conferences on collaborative robotics during his first semester of doctoral studies. As a meticulous and motivated researcher, Andrey brings discipline, structured thinking, and a fresh perspective stemming from his diverse academic background, making him a valuable addition to the team.

Besides CoDRI, Andrey has also been an active researcher in the Immersive Systems and Sensory Stimulation Lab (IS3L) at the Institute of Systems and Robotics (ISR), Coimbra, since 2022.
